Al Hosn Palace is the oldest building in the city of Abu Dhabi. This building was built in 1793 as the residence of the ruling family. This building is commonly known as Old Fort or the White Fort. The Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage is planning to restore the Old Fort and to open a new museum there. In the meantime, it is still open to visitors.
